Business days are Monday to Friday. We are a small team, so we do not staff a 24/7 desk and we would rather say that than promise a response time we cannot keep. Pro customers are answered first.

Before you write: what makes a report fixable

Almost every conversion bug is reproducible from the input alone, so the fastest report is a short one with the source attached.

  • The Markdown, or the smallest fragment that still shows the problem. Paste it in the email or attach the .md file. We do not need your whole document.
  • What you expected and what you got. "The table lost its borders" is enough; a screenshot of the Word document helps.
  • Which page or which app. The URL of the converter page, or the extension version from the popup.
  • Browser and version, and whether you opened the result in Word, LibreOffice or Google Docs. Rendering differences between those three are the single most common cause of a "broken" file.
  • For a template problem, the .docx you uploaded as the template, if you are able to share it.

Answers you may not need to wait for

  • Nothing downloads. Check whether the browser blocked the download, and whether an extension is blocking blob: URLs. Conversion happens locally, so there is no server to be down.
  • Formatting looks wrong in Google Docs. Google Docs re-flows Word styles on import. Open the file in Word or LibreOffice before reporting it.
  • Equations do not render. They are inserted as native Word equations, which older Word versions and some viewers display as plain text. See Markdown to Word with LaTeX.
  • My template's margins did not carry over. That is a documented limitation, not a bug: the current version applies the template's style definitions only. The scope is spelled out on Markdown to Word with template.
  • Pro is not unlocked on this device. Sign in with the same address you bought with; the plan follows the account, not the browser. Details on the pricing page.
  • I want a refund. Within 7 days of purchase we refund without asking why. The rules are in the Terms of Service.

Documentation and policies

Each converter page carries its own FAQ covering that specific conversion, and those FAQs are the fastest reference for what is supported. For everything else: the Privacy Policy lists exactly what is collected and what never leaves your device, the Terms of Service cover plans, refunds and what Lifetime means, the extension page lists the browser permissions and why each one is requested, and About explains who runs this and how it is funded. Guides and worked examples are on the blog.

Reporting a security issue

Email [email protected] with the subject "Security" and a description of the issue and how to reproduce it. Please give us a reasonable window to fix it before publishing. We do not run a paid bounty programme, and we will say so plainly rather than let you spend time on the assumption that we do. We credit reporters who want to be credited.
